Por un México más sanoWelcome to Mexican Pharmacy Aggregator, a service created for people who want to search the market in Mexico without opening ten or twenty pharmacy websites one by one. We are not a single drugstore with one catalog. Our system brings pharmacy offers together, checks where a medicine is listed, shows the current price and gives you a clearer picture of where it can actually be ordered or picked up.
This is useful for patients already taking a regular medicine, people looking for a lower-cost generic, families comparing an expensive branded prescription, and travelers trying to locate a particular product in Mexico. A medicine that is expensive or unavailable at one chain can be stocked by another pharmacy a few miles away. Regional chains also matter. Some of the strongest offers in Monterrey, Mérida, Tijuana, Puebla or the Bajío never appear when a customer searches only the large national names.
Our online service was built around that difference. Search once, see several pharmacy options, compare the important parts of the offer and choose how you want the order handled.
Mexican online pharmacy service is a medicine-search and pharmacy-comparison service focused on the Mexican retail market. It connects information from national chains, regional pharmacy groups, digital pharmacies, specialty sellers and pharmacy departments operated by major Mexican retailers.
The Mexican market is much larger and more fragmented than a list of five familiar chains might suggest. A 2025 industry review counted approximately 65,105 pharmacies in Mexico, with more than 60% concentrated in the central and Bajío regions. At the same time, the online side of the market has been growing quickly. One current market estimate places Mexican e-pharmacy sales at about $1.45 billion in 2025, with prescription medicines accounting for 62.8% of the category.
For a patient, those numbers create a very practical problem. There is plenty of choice, but the choice is spread across different websites, apps, local inventories, loyalty programs and delivery areas. Our job is to put those offers into one search.

Feeling Supported Means Feeling Better
The service is designed for people who already know what medicine they are looking for and want a better view of the Mexican market before buying it. It can be used to find an original brand, locate a generic alternative, compare prices between chains, check whether a pharmacy carries the product, or decide whether home delivery or pharmacy pickup makes more sense.
It is also useful when a medicine is sold under a different commercial name in Mexico. A customer who knows Flomax may need to search the Mexican market under tamsulosin. Neurontin can appear next to other gabapentin products. Viagra competes with pharmacy-label sildenafil and several Mexican brands. Our search groups those market options so the customer does not have to know every local brand before starting.
Our pharmacy search is not limited to Mexico City or the largest national chains. We monitor pharmacy offers across the main commercial regions of the country, including border cities, large metropolitan areas and regional pharmacy markets where local chains remain important.
Northern Border:
Tijuana, Mexicali, Ciudad Juárez, Reynosa, Nuevo Laredo and surrounding areas;
Northeast:
Monterrey, Saltillo, Torreón and other markets in Nuevo León, Coahuila and Tamaulipas;
Northwest and Pacific:
Hermosillo, Culiacán, Mazatlán and the Baja California region;
Western Mexico and Bajío:
Guadalajara, León, Aguascalientes, Morelia, Zamora, Celaya, Querétaro and nearby cities;
Central Mexico:
Mexico City, Estado de México, Puebla, Hidalgo, Morelos and Tlaxcala;
Gulf and Southeast:
Veracruz, Tabasco, Chiapas and surrounding markets;
Yucatán Peninsula:
Mérida, Cancún, Playa del Carmen and other parts of Yucatán and Quintana Roo.
National chains give the search broad coverage, while regional pharmacies fill in the gaps. Farmacias Guadalajara, for example, reached approximately 3,084 locations by August 2026.
Farmacias del Ahorro has more than 1,800 locations, while Farmacias Benavides had roughly 1,045 by the end of 2025. Smaller chains can have a much stronger position inside one particular state or city.
Farmacias Guadalajara is the first pharmacy we normally check when broad geographic coverage matters. It operates in all 32 Mexican states and has grown past 3,000 locations, making it useful when the patient wants to compare an online offer with a nearby physical branch. The chain also carries original brands, manufacturer products and its Pharmalife line in the same catalog.
Its online store has another useful feature for an aggregator. The first price shown is not necessarily the final local situation. Farmacias Guadalajara asks for a postal code, and both inventory and some online prices can vary according to the selected area. The site also clearly separates many online prices from in-store pricing. That gives us two pieces of information to work with — the advertised offer and whether the product can actually be supplied where the customer needs it.
Sildenafil gives a simple example of what Mexican pharmacy service is built to do. Below is the same basic product search — sildenafil 50 mg with four tablets — across six Mexican online pharmacy channels checked in September 2026.
| Pharmacy | Product | Online Price | Approx. USD | Offer Type | Order Option |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Prixz | Sildenafil 50 mg, 4 tablets | MXN $35 | $2.03 | Generic / Selección Prixz | Online delivery |
| Farmacias Guadalajara | Pharmalife Sildenafil 50 mg, 4 tablets | MXN $79.01 | $4.59 | Pharmacy-line generic | Local availability by postal code |
| Farmacias Similares | Sildenafil 50 mg, 4 tablets | MXN $74.25 promotional / $99 regular | $4.31 / $5.75 | Generic | Online purchase |
| Farmacias YZA | YZA Sildenafil 50 mg, 4 tablets | MXN $152 | $8.83 | YZA private label | Home delivery or pickup |
| Farmacias Benavides | Benavides Sildenafil 50 mg, 4 tablets | MXN $195 | $11.33 | Benavides private label | Home delivery or pickup |
| Farmacias del Ahorro | Marca del Ahorro Sildenafil 50 mg, 4 tablets | MXN $197 | $11.45 | Marca del Ahorro | Online order / recurring order available |
Prixz currently lists this four-tablet presentation for MXN $35, while the Farmacias del Ahorro version is MXN $197. That is more than a five-fold difference before any delivery fee or loyalty benefit is counted. Guadalajara, Similares and YZA all sit between those two prices.
Currency figures above use the current MXN-to-USD conversion and are meant to make the size of the difference easier to read. Mexican pharmacies charge in pesos, and the actual card conversion can differ slightly.
Price is only one part of the result. Prixz may have the lowest listing today, Guadalajara may have a branch much closer to the customer, YZA can offer pickup in a particular area, and another pharmacy may have a loyalty promotion that changes the total after checkout. The aggregator keeps those differences visible instead of reducing the search to one number.
A useful aggregator needs to do more than copy medicine names from several websites. Mexican pharmacy offers have their own small details, and those details often decide where a customer actually buys.
These features are especially useful for repeat prescriptions. A patient does not need to rediscover the pharmacy market every month. Once the preferred pharmacies and products are known, later searches become much faster.
The service keeps the search simple even though dozens of pharmacy catalogs may be involved behind it.
Enter the medicine name, generic name or familiar brand. If a U.S. brand is not commonly used in Mexico, the search can also return products under the corresponding active ingredient.
The results place participating pharmacy listings together so you can see current prices, brand type, local availability, promotions and available fulfillment methods.
Select the pharmacy offer that works for your situation. The lowest price may be the priority for one customer, while another may prefer a nearby pickup point or a pharmacy that can supply the complete order.
Add the selected pharmacy offer to your order. The source pharmacy remains attached to the item so the price and fulfillment route do not become mixed with another retailer’s listing.
Provide the address and any prescription information required for the selected medicine. Delivery options are checked against the pharmacy’s coverage instead of assuming that every online product is available everywhere.
Review the pharmacy, product, price and fulfillment details and complete the order. Prescription dispensing remains subject to the rules that apply to the selected medicine and the pharmacy handling it.
Mexican Pharmacy Aggregator is built around a wider market than the five chains most customers already know. Our monitored set includes national pharmacy groups, regional chains, specialty pharmacies, digital-first sellers and major retailers with pharmacy departments.

Not every name in this list has the same business model. Some are full national pharmacy chains, some are regional operators, others specialize in higher-cost medicines, and several are pharmacy departments inside larger retail groups. Current manufacturer distribution lists confirm many of these channels, while regional stores such as Purex, ABC, Bazar, Herrera, Medina and Zamora maintain their own active pharmacy or online retail operations.
Mexico does not have one dominant pharmacy format. It has national chains with thousands of stores, strong regional operators, generic-focused networks, specialty pharmacies, digital-first sellers and supermarket pharmacies competing for the same patient. The country had an estimated 65,105 pharmacy establishments in the latest sector review, while the retail pharmacy market itself was estimated at about $30.7 billion in 2025.
The online market adds another layer. Mexican e-pharmacy sales were estimated at roughly $1.45 billion in 2025 and are projected to grow at more than 12% annually through 2034. Prescription medicines already represent the majority of the online drug category. More pharmacies are putting inventory online, but each chain still uses its own search system, promotion logic and delivery map.
Prices can also separate very quickly. One current sildenafil comparison ranges from MXN $35 to MXN $197 for four 50 mg tablets. A private-label finasteride product can cost MXN $499 in the same pharmacy where Proscar is MXN $2,720. Generic pantoprazole can sit next to brands costing four or five times more.
The problem is not lack of pharmacies. It is having too many disconnected pharmacy catalogs. An aggregator gives the customer a market view instead of a store view.
There is no single “Mexican price” for a medicine. The same product can change according to pharmacy, manufacturer, private-label program, promotion and local stock. The examples below use actual online Mexican listings checked in September 2026 and convert them into approximate U.S. dollars for easier reading.
| Medicine | Example Presentation | Mexican Online Price | USD Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Prednisone | 5 mg, 20 tablets | MXN $48 | $2.79 |
| Sildenafil | 50 mg, 4 tablets | MXN $35 | $2.03 |
| Levothyroxine | 100 mcg, 100 tablets | MXN $120 | $6.97 |
| Gabapentin | 300 mg, 30 capsules | MXN $162 | $9.41 |
| Pantoprazole | 40 mg, 14 tablets | MXN $199 | $11.56 |
| Atorvastatin | 20 mg, 30 tablets | MXN $244 | $14.18 |
| Tamsulosin | 0.4 mg, 30 capsules | MXN $330 | $19.17 |
| Amoxil / Amoxicillin | 500 mg, 12 capsules | MXN $348 | $20.22 |
| Montelukast | 10 mg, 30 tablets | MXN $378 | $21.96 |
| Celecoxib | 200 mg, 10 capsules | MXN $452 | $26.26 |
| Finasteride | 5 mg, 30 tablets | MXN $499 | $28.99 |
| Lantus | 100 U/mL, 1 prefilled pen | MXN $639 | $37.13 |
| Zofran | 8 mg, 10 tablets | MXN $830 | $48.22 |
| Symbicort | 160/4.5 mcg, 60 doses | MXN $1,274 | $74.02 |
| Jardianz Duo | 5/850 mg, 30 tablets | MXN $1,375 | $79.89 |
| Januvia | 100 mg, 28 tablets | MXN $1,801 | $104.64 |
| Eliquis | 5 mg, 60 tablets | MXN $2,576 | $149.67 |
| Xarelto | 20 mg, 28 tablets | MXN $2,873 | $166.92 |
| Ozempic | 0.25/0.5 mg dose, 1 pen with 6 needles | MXN $3,096 promotional | $179.88 |
The prices come from current online examples at Prixz, Farmacias Benavides and Farmacias del Ahorro. They are not fixed national prices. Benavides, for example, lists its own gabapentin 300 mg at MXN $162 while Gabantin 300 mg is MXN $684; its 5 mg finasteride is MXN $499 while branded Proscar is listed at MXN $2,720. A patient searching only one brand would never see the full price range.
The same pattern appears in gastrointestinal medicines. Benavides lists a generic 40 mg pantoprazole package at MXN $199, while branded Pantozol is MXN $969 and Tecta is MXN $995 for comparable 14-unit presentations. The pharmacy is the same; the commercial product changes the price by roughly five times.
Other examples in the table include Lantus at MXN $639 for one prefilled pen, Symbicort 160/4.5 at MXN $1,274, Januvia at MXN $1,801, Xarelto at MXN $2,873 and Ozempic at an online promotional price of MXN $3,096.
Prices should therefore be treated as live market information. They can move with promotions, postal code, loyalty programs and local inventory. Mexican Pharmacy Aggregator keeps the date and source pharmacy attached to the offer so an old promotional figure is not mistaken for today’s market price.
Two Mexican pharmacy websites can sell the same medicine and still operate very differently. Understanding those differences is useful before choosing where to order.
National chains. Farmacias Guadalajara and Farmacias del Ahorro are built around broad national coverage. They are useful when the customer needs a pharmacy in another city or wants an online order backed by a large physical network. Guadalajara passed 3,000 branches in 2026, while Del Ahorro operates more than 1,800 locations.
Generic-focused chains. Farmacias Similares built its model around lower-cost generic medicines and operates close to 10,000 locations across Mexico and Chile. Its scale and generic focus can produce very different prices from traditional brand-heavy chains.
Private-label pharmacies. Guadalajara has Pharmalife, Del Ahorro has Marca del Ahorro, Benavides has its own generic range and YZA sells YZA-branded medicines. These products can create some of the largest price differences inside the market.
Regional chains. Farmacias Roma is especially relevant in northwestern Mexico, ABC operates around Monterrey, Bazar is strongly associated with Mérida, Purex has a large northern presence, while Zamora is concentrated in northwestern Michoacán. A national comparison that ignores them can miss a strong local offer.
Mexican Pharmacy Aggregator does not try to turn dozens of different pharmacies into one identical store. Their differences are the useful part. One chain may have the lowest generic price, another may have the original brand in stock, a regional pharmacy may be closer to the patient, and a specialty pharmacy may carry a product that ordinary chains do not list at all.
Our service puts those choices together before the customer has to make the purchase. Search the medicine, see who carries it, compare the offers, check how the pharmacy can supply it and then complete the order using the option that fits the situation.
